Jeff and Anna’s wedding was last weekend! Since we didn’t have a chance to meet earlier, we went out for an engagement session the day before. Of course, they were very excited with the wedding just a day away! And as you’ll see from the photos, they are too cute together.
We went to the Art District which fit Jeff and Anna’s personalities perfectly, especially since they live in an artsy part of Texas. It was a great time strolling the streets with them and enjoying the crisp winter weather.

Love this one…

Check back! I’ll be posting images from the wedding very soon!!

Shannon, Luis, and their two dogs Bailey (chocolate lab) & Morgan (sassy white bulldog) just moved to Vegas from Florida. They wanted me to shoot a “kick ass” unique Christmas card for their friends and family back home. Their instructions: Vegas + Christmas + them and the dogs! So here’s what we came up with…

Morgan and Bailey had a different idea for the reindeer ears. The looks on their faces were just too perfect.

And of course I had to catch a few shots of just Shannon and Luis.

Now that October madness is starting to slow a little, I have some time to get caught up on my bloggin’! And I couldn’t wait to show some from Christina and Randy’s engagement. Definitely fun times!!

This is just funny. I love when couples can be goofy together.

Aren’t they the perfect match.
The wedding is next summer. And Christina is going to make such a gorgeous bride!

Ruth and Mark flew out from England to get married in Las Vegas. I had been chatting with Ruth for a few months online so it was great finally meet her and Mark for the engagement, wedding, and awesome trash-the-dress session! From the very beginning they were game for anything so I could tell we were going to have an amazingly fun week together!!
For the engagement session we went to beautiful Lake Las Vegas -

Yes, they were SOAKED.

Ruth and Mark’s wedding was a few days later at Caesars Palace. I loved that it was an intimate wedding with just the two of them and their parents. And afterward we all took a limo down the strip for some fun times – and lots of photos!
Some getting ready details…

Getting married…

There is something I really love about this one…

Photos teasers from the trash the dress session coming as well – so check back soon!!

Last week I attended Day 2 of the Step it Up Seminar with Mike Larson and Brittney Hanson (of BLR). It was an amazing opportunity – I learned a ton and made new friends with a great group of photographers – definitely fun times! While soaking up the knowledge, I was able to sneak in a couple shots of the fabulous couples who came out:

Behind the scenes:
Mike and Brittney set the scene for the live demo shoot.

Me, Charise, Melissa McClure, and Emily. Thanks to Brittney for this photo!

We celebrated Mabel and Sherwin’s engagement by hanging out at EyeCandy in Mandalay. It was very fitting since they had first met at a lounge here in Las Vegas. Well, actually, waiting in line to get in. It was on the 4th of July at Ghost Bar. They never got to see the fireworks that night, but instead their lives have been lit up by each other ever since! Even the distance – Mabel being from Florida and Sherwin California – could not stop what was meant to be. And they have been happily together 5 years now.
I’m very excited for the wedding next month!!

It’s 1am and I’m getting ready to head out to LA for PartnerCon in a couple hours…
But I couldn’t leave without getting a few shots up from Johnnie and Angela’s awesome engagement session last week. I love these two! They are spunky, fun, and so in love, which of course makes them such a joy to be around. It was great being able to chit-chat and get to know each other during the drive and our fun ice skating session!

Their bums may have been cold sitting on the ice, but they were smoking hot!!!

Can’t wait until the wedding in December!!

I’m so stoked about Kathy and Mark’s wedding this coming Sunday after their awesome engagement session earlier this week! I just love how cute they are together. You can tell how in love they are by the way they look into each others eyes… and totally crack each other up!

Kathy and Mark: I had a great time strolling downtown with you guys and chit-chatting over a tea, smoothie, and apple juice.
I can’t wait to see you guys again this weekend for the big day!!

Christine and James are adorable together!! They started out as high school sweethearts. Christine was super shy at the time, but luckily James was persistent in asking her out. After multiple attempts, she finally said yes on Valentines Day.
Fast forward to today – the time has finally arrived! We’ll be celebrating the wedding tomorrow (8-8-8) at the Flamingo and Alexis Park!

Be sure to check back for photos from the wedding!

Last weekend was awesome! Linda and Darrell came in from Baltimore a few days early, so we met up for a fun engagement session before the wedding.

And when I came on the morning of the wedding (music blaring and the girls dancing whilst getting ready), I could tell right away that I was going to be spending the day with an fun group of people! The whole day was definitely a big celebration.

I think it goes without saying that these two make a gorgeous couple! Linda and Darrell, thanks for letting me spend the day with you guys. It was a fantastic wedding!

What a great past weekend! Kris and Andy came out from Bradford, England in celebration of their big day. Thursday night we picked up their wedding license, then hit up the town for a fun engagement session along the strip!

Karma got Kris back for splashing me inside the conservatory…

Just for fun, we decided to have a competition against the “Everything is Sexier in Paris” poster. I say Kris and Andy won hands down.

Though the marriage license made it legal, it wasn’t until the wedding on Saturday that Kris and Andy were officially married! Photos from their fabulous wedding coming soon!

I don’t think we could have asked for a more perfect day to go for a little hike. Beautiful weather, flowers were blooming, and spring was all around us…

Johanna and Dustin even brought “the kids” – Bella and Brutus – along for some fun! It was hard to get them to sit still with so much to climb and play on, but one mention of the word “cookie” and you had their attention.

Bella likes flowers. This was taken right before she ate it….

The winds nearly blew us away – the cold nearly froze us – the dirt got all over – and in the end it all just added to the fun:

Little about Kara and Greg -
Last September Greg brought Kara out to Vegas and proposed in a setup on a private balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains which played songs just for her. Though Kara is typically a super tough girl to surprise, he pulled it off seamlessly. Fast forward to today – the wedding is less than 2 weeks away!
From the moment I met them in September – I knew this was a couple I really wanted to work with. It was great that they even changed their date around a few times so that our availabilities lined up. Kara and Greg are the sweetest people, fun to be around, and seem to fit each other flawlessly. So of course I’m very excited to be seeing and photographing them again so soon! Be sure to check back for more photos!
Also, a big thanks to Jayse for coming out to help assist and get some video footage of me in action! Videos are coming soon along with an all new custom site – more to be revealed in the upcoming months!

Monday was a great day for a little hike and photo shoot! I had the perfect weather, beautiful scenery, and one totally-in-love gorgeous couple!

I took off in the car and made the lovebirds hitch-hike back home…

…but at least I was nice and left them their golfing gear.
Melissa and Nick – Thanks for a great time! I’m sad I’ll be missing your wedding, but I know it’s going to be wonderful. You’ll have to come back out and visit me in Vegas sometime!

What can I say about Roxanne and James besides that this couple ROCKS! They are so much fun to be around and just radiate with happiness and energy. I love the way James makes Roxie laugh and they the way the are together. Just too perfect!
We had a great time just strolling Fremont on Saturday. Then headed back to the hotel to check out spots for the formals and soak our feet in the hot tub.
If the engagement was this much fun, I sooo can’t wait until the wedding in June!! And we might have a super fun, totally unique “surprise” trash-the-dress session to share with you too, so be sure to check back!!

Love the story behind Roxanne’s gorgeous ring. James actually designed it himself with the stone from his late Grandmother’s wedding ring. Isn’t it beautiful?!

I met up with Joyce and Bryan for their engagement session yesterday morning — spending time getting to know them and just enjoying the early hours at Lake Las Vegas was so much fun! It was like we had the whole place to ourselves! We started out at the MonteLago Village and then made our way to the other side of the lake to explore the beautiful scenery. I absolutely loved spending time with the two of them! It is very obvious when you’re around them how in love they are and how happy they make each other!
The lush green environment went well with their ‘eco-friendly’ theme. I think it’s such a great idea for a wedding. I can’t wait to photograph it in June!

And they thought they weren’t photogenic…

I had a blast photographing Rosie and Josh Sunday night at one of their favorite Vegas hangouts. They are a fun and unique couple and the images turned out as eclectic and cool as they are. I can’t wait for their Marie Antoinette themed wedding in November!

It might have been freezing outside but Shayla and Cris sure heated things up during Thursday’s engagement session! What a gorgeous couple!
We met up early to catch the sunrise and start our day off right! Though we originally expected rain, the weather threw us a twist and it ended up being a nice, clear day instead. Either way, we were ready for fun!

After months of talking online I was very excited to finally meet Jen and Tavis in person for a fun engagement session! We met early Friday morning and the weather was great – no wind and not too cold – the perfect day for a little stroll along the strip.
We sure built up an appetite during our 2 hour walk. So afterwards we had a really nice brunch at the Wynn to talk about life, love, and plans for the big day.
Can’t wait until their wedding in May!

Sharon and Ralph are such a sweet couple. They met in grade school and through everything have kept their friendship throughout the years. Now destiny has brought them together in love and they are getting married with the wedding only a week away!

I love how they make each other laugh. Ralph has some really funny jokes up his sleeves. I can’t wait to hopefully hear more on the wedding day!

I had a wonderful time Wednesday afternoon getting to know Sharon and Ralph at their beautiful home in Las Vegas. I think it’s great that they will be having the wedding reception there – they are even getting a dance floor built in the backyard for the occasion! I got a little preview of their mad ballroom skills.
Only one week away, so check back soon!
