I first shot Valerie and David’s maternity 5 weeks ago where we had a blast out at the dry lake bed!
Valerie and David wanted the sex of the baby to be a surprise, so it was very exciting to find out that they had a beautiful baby girl! Her name is Talia, which means “Heaven’s Dew”. It was great meeting her for the first time and she was so good throughout the entire shoot. Here’s little Talia at just under 3 weeks old -

It was so great working with Stephanie and Matt’s three beautiful boys. Kaleb is the oldest who loved being in front of my camera as much as I loved photographing him, Seth is the spunky middle child, and Michael is the newest adorable addition to the family. Valerie and Dave such a sweet couple and are both very excited for their new baby. Valerie’s due date is just 1 week away!! They decided to wait to know the sex of the baby, so as Valerie says, it will be their “little summer surprise”. I can’t wait. 
Valerie is such a gorgeous mommy. This is one of my absolute favorites!

At only 19 days old Patty and Adam’s baby boy Ethan is utterly adorable! He was full of energy Friday morning, showing off his playful personality. And towards the end he tired himself out a little revealing his more peaceful side. So lovable!

What wonderful family! It was such a pleasure photographing Fara and Dale’s beautiful 3 month old daughter. Fara was so much fun to work with and had lots of cute toys and props collected for the shoot. And beautiful Ava was very content with the camera just clicking away – quite the little supermodel!
Though she was born 6 weeks early (just couldn’t wait to come out and face the world), Ava’s definitely filling out now! I made sure to capture those cute chubby cheeks and precious baby rolls. Absolutely adorable!

Eileen called me on Wednesday to get photographs taken as a Father’s Day surprise for her husband since they don’t have any recent photos of the kids together. I thought that was such a sweet idea. With only 3 days left until Father’s Day it was going to be a rush, but I was happy to be able to make it happen through my fine-art prints. So we got sneaky and set a meet up right away!
Despite it being very hot out yesterday, I had a nice day with their family at a nearby park. I think the heat actually made everyone a little goofy, but that was alright since it made for some cute candids.

Last time I saw her Nevaeh was so tiny at only 2 weeks old. Well, those cute little cheeks have filled out and she is more gorgeous than ever. Those blue eyes! They make me jealous!

Baby Nevaeh is darling at only 2 weeks old…
This was a more difficult shoot, since the only time I could meet with Jessica and Eric was at night when the poor darling was very tired. I’d be a little cranky too if someone woke me up in the middle of the night, shining lights in my face. But we waited patiently and with a lot of love from mom and dad she calmed down just in time to capture some beautiful shots…
