Friday’s engagement session was so much fun!
We started out the morning right with fresh, cool mountain air during our hike up at Red Rock Canyon. I admire Jamie for hiking all that way in heels AND looking great while doing it!
During the shoot, we got ambushed by big gnats (which really liked me for some reason), leaving me with many very itchy battle wounds on my arms. As much as I go up to Red Rock this is the first time this has ever happened so I’m not sure where they came from. But it was well worth it for the awesome shots we got.
Jamie and Ryan were such a sweet couple. I enjoyed spending the morning with them and can’t wait until they come back out for the wedding!
Here’s some photos of the beautiful couple:

What a great wedding. Sara and Dustin were awesome!
I met early with Sara and the gang at the Bellagio and we all took the *party bus* to Little Chapel of the West for the ceremony. After everyone jumped back in the party bus for a ride down the strip for some super fun times and great photos! Most everyone came out from Ohio. I love people from there… always so sweet and easy-going!
After a really nice dinner reception at Canaletto we hung out and walked the strip back to the Bellagio. Our feet were tired, but it was worth – the strip seems to come to life at night… really beautiful. Good times!

So after a month of chaos, Jayse and I are moved in to our beautiful new home. All the rooms are spoken for. The loft is now our official office and the 2 extra bedrooms are for a craft area and a photo studio! It’s our first house (and an amazing one at that) so we are very excited!

I met up with Sara and Dustin at their hotel and we drove up to Red Rock early this morning (around 5:30). It was a beautiful 72 degrees out… in AUGUST! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day or a sweeter couple.
Sara and Dustin came out from Ohio, so I think the desert landscapes were a nice change of scenery for them, though I myself miss the green. We had a really nice hike and got back just as the warm sunlight started peaking over the mountains.

I picked Estacie up from her hotel bright and early @ 5:30am to drive out to our “secret” location fully equipped with energy drinks, water, makeup, memory cards, cameras, and of course – the dress!
Estacie made a great model because she was up for anything! It was a 50 min drive out there and I would have drove 3 times as far (on a full tank of gas) for the fun times we had.
Here’s a few shots from the day:

After we left that location, we went out to the lake to cool off and have some water fun!

All I can say is wow, what a day. Estacie you totally rock!

What wonderful family! It was such a pleasure photographing Fara and Dale’s beautiful 3 month old daughter. Fara was so much fun to work with and had lots of cute toys and props collected for the shoot. And beautiful Ava was very content with the camera just clicking away – quite the little supermodel!
Though she was born 6 weeks early (just couldn’t wait to come out and face the world), Ava’s definitely filling out now! I made sure to capture those cute chubby cheeks and precious baby rolls. Absolutely adorable!

Estacie and Daniel’s personalities are infectious! What an amazing couple…
From the moment I met them and saw how they would goof off and make each other laugh or even they way they gazed into each other’s eyes I could tell they truly belong together.
The wedding at Excalibur Cantburry Chapel was very beautiful and the reception a blast. Most everyone came out from California Bay Area. And I have to say, what a great bunch of people.
Congratulations to a beautiful couple!
