After months of talking online I was very excited to finally meet Jen and Tavis in person for a fun engagement session! We met early Friday morning and the weather was great – no wind and not too cold – the perfect day for a little stroll along the strip.
We sure built up an appetite during our 2 hour walk. So afterwards we had a really nice brunch at the Wynn to talk about life, love, and plans for the big day.
Can’t wait until their wedding in May!

At only 19 days old Patty and Adam’s baby boy Ethan is utterly adorable! He was full of energy Friday morning, showing off his playful personality. And towards the end he tired himself out a little revealing his more peaceful side. So lovable!

Israel is such an incredible country – where do I begin?
Our hosts Talli and Ben were amazing, making us feel very at home in Tel Aviv. And Ben went out of his way to plan an unforgettable week for us, with the first two days spent touring Jerusalem…

We visited the old holy city, the prayer wall (and put our prayers in), walked through the same passage that Jesus carried the cross, saw the original Jesus tomb, visited the holy churches, and of course, we got a chance to ride a camel!

Talli took this photo of us during our camel ride on Mt. Olive overlooking all of Jerusalem.

One of our favorite parts was when we were overlooking the entire city on top of Mt. Olive. You could see everything and it was midday (12:15 noon) when a faint chanting in the far distance crescendoed into a holy sound that surrounded us from all directions. From our viewpoint you could see the old temple and the garden of Gesthemine (where Jesus prayed his last night that he wouldn’t have to die and where Judas gave him the kiss for guards to take him away). We later went down to walk through the garden as well. Such a great experience.
