During last night’s PUG we were privileged to have arranged a very special presentation: “Standing Out in the Photography Industry” by guest speakers
Michael and Anna Costa.

Had to put this up – they are so cute together. Here she said “I want to control the remote,” and just because it’s their anniversary Michael actually handed it over.

It was an awesome presentation that hit major areas (niche marketing, sales, associate photographers, outsourcing)… and left you wanting more!
I also loved watching their slide-shows. It’s always inspirational seeing amazing work. And it was great having such talent come out to speak on our 2nd meetup!

Michael and Anna will be sharing their knowledge across the states as they travel for their national PUG tour, so fellow photographers – be on the lookout! Also be sure to check out their forum: Photo for the People. It has live chats and interviews with incredible photographers and is a great place to share, network and learn.

As you can see, our guests really enjoyed the info and humor.

Roxanne and James are back and married!! Click here to check out their engagement from March.

I loved the “berry” colored theme. The dresses were all the same cut, but in different colors and each bridesmaid added their own flair to it with unique jewelry, hair and makeup.

Even brides have to pee!

Now on to the PARTY!!

Roxanne and James’s wedding coordiator Stephanie from CLM weddings is amazing at what she does! She must be one of the most organized individuals I have ever met… and as a result Roxanne was one of the most stress-free brides. While everyone was enjoying a fantastic wedding day, Stephanie and her staff were busy working behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. And I must say, the reception at Tabu and after-party at the Planet Hollywood Apex Suite were incredible!

Roxanne and James, like I’ve said before, YOU GUYS ROCK! I’m so happy you had me photograph your day. Such a gorgeous wedding! And thanks for inviting me and Jayse to the after-party – I could think of no better way to bring in my 21st birthday!

I can’t wait for you to come back out and visit for our Trash the Dress!

At Joyce and Bryan’s engagement in March, Joyce had told me about her fantastic ideas for an ‘eco-friendly’ wedding (along with her yellow and gray color scheme), so it was great to see the whole thing come together so beautifully!

Their ceremony took place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church:

Lisa, from Weddings by Design, did an incredible job coordinating this unique wedding. The way she incorporated Joyce’s “green” theme into every design detail was pure artistry… the ambiance was fantastic.

Loved these center pieces with wheat-grass and lemons!

A lot has been going on these past couple weeks with wedding season in full swing!
But here’s a few quick ones from an awesome couple, Kyla and Ryan, who came out from B.C. Canada last week to celebrate their special day. Major congrats to the super sweet couple. I hope you both had a fantastic time honeymooning in Mexico!

Ryan’s Scottish kilt was so much fun! It definitely completed their wedding ensemble.

I also had a blast photographing their engagement a couple days prior to the wedding. They are so cute together!

Last weekend was awesome! Linda and Darrell came in from Baltimore a few days early, so we met up for a fun engagement session before the wedding.

And when I came on the morning of the wedding (music blaring and the girls dancing whilst getting ready), I could tell right away that I was going to be spending the day with an fun group of people! The whole day was definitely a big celebration.

I think it goes without saying that these two make a gorgeous couple! Linda and Darrell, thanks for letting me spend the day with you guys. It was a fantastic wedding!

Thanks to everyone that was able to make it out and helped make our first meet a success! It was a lot of fun meeting fellow photographers and sharing ideas. I can already tell we’re going to have a strong Vegas community!

Thanks to my Jayse for taking these photos! Of course, that’s me with the puppy in my lap. We were proud of how well behaved Bella was with all the people over.
