After the wedding day, it was awesome being able to head out with Ruth and Mark for a trash the dress adventure! We had so much fun hanging out while hitting up some of the best locations Vegas has to offer.
I must say Ruth and Mark were smokin’ during this session!

Hair and makeup were done by Lori White. I have to give this girl mad props. We started out on our adventure at 6:30 AM, which meant hair and makeup had to be started hours earlier. And did such great work – Ruth looked incredible!

After exploring Nelson we were off to the Boneyard for even more photos and fun times:

Now that October madness is starting to slow a little, I have some time to get caught up on my bloggin’! And I couldn’t wait to show some from Christina and Randy’s engagement. Definitely fun times!!

This is just funny. I love when couples can be goofy together.

Aren’t they the perfect match.
The wedding is next summer. And Christina is going to make such a gorgeous bride!

I went out with Lisa and Justin for a couples session around the Las Vegas strip. I love how happy they make each other. Both of them have the biggest smiles in all their photos. And they are very cute together.
Getting swept away – love this one…

Lisa and Justin – thanks for having me capture your love! I had such a great time strolling the strip with you guys. Congrats on a wonderful marriage!

Ruth and Mark flew out from England to get married in Las Vegas. I had been chatting with Ruth for a few months online so it was great finally meet her and Mark for the engagement, wedding, and awesome trash-the-dress session! From the very beginning they were game for anything so I could tell we were going to have an amazingly fun week together!!
For the engagement session we went to beautiful Lake Las Vegas -

Yes, they were SOAKED.

Ruth and Mark’s wedding was a few days later at Caesars Palace. I loved that it was an intimate wedding with just the two of them and their parents. And afterward we all took a limo down the strip for some fun times – and lots of photos!
Some getting ready details…

Getting married…

There is something I really love about this one…

Photos teasers from the trash the dress session coming as well – so check back soon!!

Courtney and David’s wedding was held at the lovely Lowes at Lake Las Vegas. I don’t think we could have asked for a more beautiful day. Though thunderstorms were on the forecast – they made sure to stay far away from the wedding – leaving us with perfect weather and a refreshing October breeze.

More of the fabulous newlyweds!

Courtney looked radiant! And I just loved what Megan from Make Up in the 702 did with her hair and makeup.

Some reception details…

Stephanie Smith of CLM Weddings did such an incredible job putting together this wedding. I love this girl! Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she’s such a sweet person. I totally recommend her to anyone looking for a fab coordinator.

I love this one of Courtney dancing with her mother and grandmother.

Courtney and David: CONGRATS!! I hope you two had a wonderful honeymoon and safe trip home!

Last week I attended Day 2 of the Step it Up Seminar with Mike Larson and Brittney Hanson (of BLR). It was an amazing opportunity – I learned a ton and made new friends with a great group of photographers – definitely fun times! While soaking up the knowledge, I was able to sneak in a couple shots of the fabulous couples who came out:

We celebrated Mabel and Sherwin’s engagement by hanging out at EyeCandy in Mandalay. It was very fitting since they had first met at a lounge here in Las Vegas. Well, actually, waiting in line to get in. It was on the 4th of July at Ghost Bar. They never got to see the fireworks that night, but instead their lives have been lit up by each other ever since! Even the distance – Mabel being from Florida and Sherwin California – could not stop what was meant to be. And they have been happily together 5 years now.
I’m very excited for the wedding next month!!

Mike Larson came out for a special PUG meeting this past Sunday. I’m excited that our little group had the opportunity to gain knowledge and inspiration from such an amazing photographer, and person.
We convinced Mike to do his famous camera tossĀ (throwing my D300 high into the air) for our group photo:

Starting from top middle and going counter clockwise: Jenna, Rachel, Iris, Jayse, me, Carla, Danny, Mary, Chris, Bill, Chris, Ashley, and of course, Mike in the center!
Fun times!
I also checked out Mike and Brittany (of BLR)’s Step it Up! Seminar on Tuesday, which will be blogged soon – along with a few fabulous weddings, engagements, and trash the dress sessions shot this past week!

For Kim and Eric’s wedding, I spent the day exploring around town with them and their really fun wedding party. The weather is just starting to cool down in Vegas, so it was a perfect day outside.
Here’s Kim getting into her dress. As you can see, she was very excited to get married and wore this huge smile on her face all day.

Quick stop at the Bellagio fountains!

Kim’s bridesmaids made a song for them called “Viva Kim and Eric.” The chorus went something like:
Kim’s getting ansy but it won’t be long,
Til Eric comes home from his hard day at ping pong
Maybe if he’s lucky she’ll sing him a song
Viva Kim and Eric, Viva Kim and Eric!
Viva! Viva! Kim and Eric!
It was quite funny – as you can see! Here they are singing and playing the song:
